Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering specialized work packages and projects within a complex health environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Project Activities:
  • Adhere to defined service quality standards, health, and safety policies, and procedures.
  • Schedule and Manage Work Packages:
  • Support and coordinate the delivery of specialized work packages and projects, ensuring solutions are responsive to customer needs and sustainable.
  • Develop Project Documentation:
  • Develop and assist with project management documentation, including formal project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Maintain Project Files:
  • Maintain program/project files in accordance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Compile Reports:
  • Assist with compiling project management reports and other administrative tasks.
  • Manage Stakeholders:
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and management of expectations.

Key Competencies and Suitability:

  • You will be assessed based on the following criteria:
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a project environment, including risk management and coordinating work package delivery.
  • Program/Project Information: Ability to compile and maintain program/project files and prepare management reports and governance committee minutes.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Familiarity with appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2) and the ability to provide advice on techniques and tools.
  • Communication Skills: Proven effective oral and written communication skills, collaborative working, and strategic influencing.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities and timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualifications (such as ITIL or PRINCE2) would be well regarded.
  • Experience in Project Management software (e.g., PPM).
