About the Role

Our organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Strategist to provide leadership and direction to our Finance Department. This key role will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and operational plans to drive business growth and sustainability.
  • Provide insightful analysis and informed decision-making to support commercial acumen and risk management.
  • Lead and manage stakeholder engagement and communication, including director-level relationships.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards, and associated practices.
  • Experience in strategic planning, organisational governance, and risk management.
  • Ability to link high-level strategy to operational outcomes and drive effective organisational performance.
Requirements:
  • Extensive expertise in financial management, accounting, management accounting, and statutory taxation and audit compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling informed decisions to drive effective organisational performance.
  • Expertise in MS Office, ERP systems, and reporting (intermediate to advanced).
  • Prior experience in the civil construction, infrastructure, or similar industry.
