Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Financial Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in commerce, finance or accounting and have minimum 2 years experience in accounts, payroll or accounting.

The successful applicant will assist with financial and project accounting as well as provide support for payroll and accounts payable functions. This includes ensuring transactional accounting activities are regularly updated to guarantee accuracy.

  • A degree in commerce, finance or accounting (or studying towards)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts, payroll or accounting
  • Knowledge of accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and associated practices
  • Experience managing and applying finance, accounts and/or payroll processes
  • Able to liaise, mediate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience providing guidance to operational personnel in accounts and payroll practices
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
  • Able to develop, implement and evaluate high-quality programs
  • Experience in MS Office and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
