Heavy Vehicle Technician Opportunity

PremiAir Hire is the equipment hire specialists offering a diverse range of diesel and electric powered solutions.

The company provides a complete service solution, consisting of multiple divisions that work together to deliver an extensive array of products and services.

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our busy facility located in Gladstone, reporting directly to the QLD State Manager.

As a key member of the team, your main responsibility will be to ensure the maintenance and servicing of diesel-driven hire equipment including Compressors, Generators, Light Towers and various vehicles and trucks.

Key duties include:

  • Repairing and maintaining hire equipment to PremiAir and OEM standards.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing on equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.
  • Other appropriate duties as required/directed.

Requirements include:

  • Current Australian driver's licence.
  • Strong mechanical, fault finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and listen and follow instructions.
  • Strong team mind-set and willingness to learn new products.
  • Capacity to work overtime when required and participate in the on-call roster.
  • Reliability, punctuality and excellent work ethics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Current HR drivers' licence and forklift ticket.
  • Construction Induction (White Card).
  • Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded.
