About this Role

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for leading the Finance Department and contributing to the company's success and sustainability.

This position involves developing and delivering financial strategies, operational plans, and related programs to align with the company's strategic priorities.

This includes providing insightful analysis, informed decision making, and commercial acumen to support the company's growth.

We are seeking an experienced leader with expertise in financial management, accounting, management accounting, and statutory, taxation, and audit compliance.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards, and practices
  • Experience in strategic planning, organisational governance, and risk management
  • Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen and commercial thinking, linking high-level strategy to operational outcomes
  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement and management, including at director level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling informed decisions to drive effective organisational performance
  • Experience in supporting change and developing people and teams to improve capability
  • Expertise in MS Office, ERP systems, and reporting (intermediate to advanced)

This role may be based in Gladstone or Brisbane, working with the team in the Head Office.
