About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnerships Developer to join our team. This role involves driving business growth, building lasting relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: As a subject matter expert for new and existing customers, you will forge trust and reliability by understanding their needs, anticipating challenges, and providing innovative solutions.
  • New Business: You will be responsible for developing business and networking skills to drive new sales opportunities through the development and implementation of business development projects.
  • CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT: Working with existing clients to develop increased sales within the current network by targeting unrealised potential, training, coaching and motivating customers and their staff to greater sales results.
  • Drive Sales & Promotion: Developing strategic relationships with both existing and prospective customers. Contact key decision makers on a systematic basis to ensure maximum exposure of Pearson products and services.
  • Key Stakeholder management: Work closely with Marketing Managers, Content teams to gain product knowledge.
  • Maintain high-level knowledge of technology-related sales tools including SFDC and power point, one CRM

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field (ideal)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or related field with proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing of sales skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Results driven with strong desire to achieve and exceed goals.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 AUD.
