Arts Queensland is seeking a skilled Senior Executive Officer to join their Strategy & Programs division. This permanent full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's goals.

About the Role

The Senior Executive Officer will play a critical role in supporting the Executive Director and team to deliver priority projects and general business outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing executive support for meetings, preparing agendas, papers, and minutes
  • Managing the workflow for briefing notes, submissions, reports, media responses, and correspondence requiring Executive Director approval
  • Liaising with team members, internal and external clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective relationships and communication
  • Undertaking project and committee support activities, including financial management and travel coordination
  • Coordinating the development, delivery, and evaluation of diverse activities and projects within S&P

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have experience working in a similar role or industry, with knowledge of project management principles and practices.

This position is located at Action urgent and sensitive matters on behalf of the Executive Director, using effective problem-solving skills and persuasive communication to achieve critical business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
