Job Opportunity: Disability Support Worker
Our organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support network, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
To succeed in this rewarding role, you must have experience working in the disability sector, particularly in mental health settings. You should also possess a valid driver's license, full comprehensive insurance, and NDIS worker screening and police check clearance.
A crucial aspect of this position is your ability to effectively manage crisis situations using de-escalation strategies. Your proficiency in handling BOC (Behavioral Observation Charts) and developing person-centered care plans will be essential in supporting our clients' unique needs.
This is a casual role offering flexible hours, ranging from 4 to 30 hours per week, with opportunities for increase based on performance and client need. You will be required to work in-person at designated locations, providing personalized support and services to our valued clients.
We offer competitive hourly rates between $33.00 and $62.41, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
