About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Customer Service Leader to join our team at Agricultural Appointments. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and elevating customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Leverage in-depth product knowledge to promote and sell our clients' diverse agricultural product range, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong customer relationships through proactive engagement, needs assessments, and solution recommendations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate and finalize contracts to secure favorable terms for both parties, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Post-Sale Support: Provide comprehensive post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns, maintaining a high level of customer loyalty.
  • Sales Performance and Reporting: Achieve and surpass sales targets through effective prospecting, lead generation, and closing techniques, preparing and submitting comprehensive sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies, staying ahead of the competition.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the customer service team, imparting product expertise and best practices, developing and delivering training programs to enhance the sales team's skills and product knowledge.
  • Performance Evaluation and Development: Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans for team members, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with customer service and sales support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, partnering with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitor key performance indicators to track progress towards company objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Demonstrated success in agricultural sales or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Skills and Competencies: Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a strong customer focus, comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of agricultural products and practices, proficiency in CRM software, Google Workspace, and internal company programs, strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, results-oriented with a proactive, strategic mindset, ability to thrive in a collaborative and independent work environment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
