We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with older adults who require mental health support. As a Community Mental Health Clinician, you will provide assessment, treatment, and coordination of care to individuals with complex mental health issues.
Responsibilities- Provide brief interventions and medium to long-term care depending on the individual's needs.
- Work closely with consumers, carers, and family members to achieve positive recovery outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of knowledge and skills in discipline-specific areas.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in community mental health settings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A sound understanding of mental health issues affecting older adults.
