Bed Access Coordinator for Mental Health

The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Bed Access Coordinator. This leadership role requires a whole-of-health-service view to implement the Mental Health Division progress plan, ensuring optimal access to adult and aged acute local bed stock.
The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care bed-based management, a commitment to fostering a culture of early escalation, and advanced communication and problem-solving skills. They will also have experience in participating and leading improvement activities within the Mental Health setting.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure access to acute mental health inpatient resources is person-centered, transparent, and timely.
- Implement the Mental Health Division progress plan to support the development of innovative and contemporary bed management methodologies.
- Participate in the leadership of improvement activities within the Mental Health setting.
