Outdoor Education Program Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Outdoor Education Program Coordinator to join our progressive campus team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality outdoor education programs that cater to the physical, emotional, and social development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging outdoor education programs that promote student growth and development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum-aligned outdoor education activities.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance program delivery.
Requirements:
  • Cert III or IV in Outdoor Recreation.
  • Wilderness First Aid Certificate (course may be offered by the College).
  • Recognised competency in at least three of the following areas: Bushwalking, Navigation, Mountain Biking, Flat water canoeing/kayaking, Abseil natural and artificial surfaces/structures, Climbing natural and artificial surfaces/structures, Caving.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least three years working in the Outdoor Education industry.
  • Ability to drive manual vehicle. Light Rigid Licence is also required.
  • Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion.
