Senior Qualified Electrician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Qualified Electrician to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience (5+ years) in industrial electrical work, strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and industrial automation, as well as exceptional leadership skills to mentor junior electricians and apprentices.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment and systems.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues with industrial machinery.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of junior electricians and apprentices.
  • Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical plans, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent.
  • A-Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in industrial electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and industrial automation.
  • Experience with PLCs and variable speed drives (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work safely under pressure and in varying conditions.
  • Applicants must have a current Construction White Card and a drivers licence (Manual required).
