We are seeking a skilled professional to join our logistics team as a Strap Down Freight Specialist.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience in safely and efficiently strapping down freight, with a focus on ensuring the secure transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely strap down freight for transportation
- Inspect and prepare trailers for strapping
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo
- Perform RF Scanning tasks to ensure accurate tracking
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet delivery deadlines
Requirements:
- Able to work flexible hours, including PM shifts and overtime
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Transport environment experience an advantage but not essential
- Compliance with OH&S regulations
