Job Opportunity: Local HR Driver
We are seeking a reliable Freight Transport Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Altona-based team, you will be responsible for handling local pickups and deliveries using an Auto tautliner truck with gates.
- A valid HR Licence is required
- Minimum 2 years of Tauliner driving experience with multi pick up and drop off experience
- Familiarity with securing loads with tarps and multiple load restraints including straps, dog & chains and binders
- Knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area
- A forklift license is preferred but not essential
- A clean driving record is expected
- Pre employment medical examination, police check and recent work reference may be required
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Tautliner trucks, ensuring proper use of gates, tarps, and load restraint equipment
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professional presentation
- Perform pre-start and end-of-day maintenance checks on vehicles
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
