Job Title: Senior Cloud Oracle Database Engineer

Join Jenny Barbour IT & Project Recruitment in this exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Cloud Oracle Database Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and running Database Services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver Database Services for our clients, ensuring they meet the required quality and business outcomes.
  • Operate and manage Cloud Database Services, including monitoring, maintenance, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Database Services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Database Services processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical consultancy and input to relevant projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Cloud Database Services, with a focus on Oracle RAC aware or Exadata databases.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, platforms, networks, and application architectures.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret and provide input to complex IT designs.
  • Experience with technology-specific coding languages for automation, such as PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible.
