Western Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead its Cancer Services as a senior health leader.

The role of Cancer Service Delivery Director plays a pivotal part in the Division of Cancer, Cardiology, and Specialty Medicine, overseeing strategic leadership and operational oversight of the team providing inpatient, ambulatory, and outpatient Cancer Services at Western Health.

This includes managing high-quality healthcare, clinical safety, and financial management for inpatient Oncology and Haematology Ward, Day Oncology Unit, Palliative Care Unit, Palliative Care CNC team, Wellness Program, Oncology HITH, Radiotherapy, Specialist Clinics, and Clinical Research.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Eligibility for registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse or allied health professional
  • Extensive clinical and management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strategic planning and change management experience
