We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead new business generation across Australia and New Zealand.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise sales within digital identity, cybersecurity, or compliance technology.
They should also have a deep understanding of AU/NZ Government (Federal and State) and regulated industries like Banking/Finance/Travel.
A strong communicator with experience navigating complex stakeholder landscapes is essential.
This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role, ideal for someone entrepreneurial and comfortable working autonomously while collaborating globally in a scale-up environment.
Key Responsibilities- Own and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across Government and BFSI sectors in AU/NZ.
- Strategically manage and grow the ATO relationship, aligning with federal digital identity priorities.
- Map the market, research opportunities, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors.
- Position i Proov as a trusted partner to C-level, security, innovation, and procurement leaders.
- Collaborate with global colleagues (product, pre-sales, marketing, legal) to drive regional success.
- Proven track record in enterprise sales within digital identity, cybersecurity, or compliance technology.
- Demonstrated success selling into AU/NZ Government (Federal and State) and regulated industries like Banking/Finance/Travel.
- Strong understanding of AU/NZ procurement processes, government sales cycles, and compliance environments.
- Exceptional communicator with experience navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Ability to balance new business development with strategic account management.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating globally in a scale-up environment.
