The Opportunity
Merivale, a leading hospitality company, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of The DOG. The ideal candidate will be a strong and passionate leader who can drive guest experience, strategy, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operation of the venue, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure staff are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Collaborate with the venue manager and other stakeholders to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Monitor and control costs, ensuring profitability and financial sustainability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar management position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of managing large teams in high-volume environments.
- Strong focus on delivering high standards and exceptional product quality.
- Hands-on and operational, with a passion for driving business growth and improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
