Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Business Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing high-level counsel to clients on capital preservation, optimization, acquisition, and investment strategies.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, delivering, and reviewing a wide range of decision modelling engagements supporting our clients in making critical business decisions. You will also have the opportunity to grow our market presence and lead in the winning of work.

Your primary focus will be on modelling, data analytics, and economic analysis. You will spend your time working with team members to deliver and review a wide range of engagements including financial modelling, decision support, and transaction analytics, macroeconomic forecasting, scenario analysis, options analysis, and business case development.

You will identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed, assume a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modelling, build and nurture positive, productive, and professional relationships with both internal and external clients, collaborate effectively with team members, mentor colleagues, stay informed about current business and economic trends relevant to clients, and leverage the latest technology and tools to enhance service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree with around 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required. Exceptional numerical and analytical skills, preferably with a degree in IT, Engineering, Economics, Sciences, or Accounting & Finance, are highly desirable. Highly desirable knowledge in venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, strategy, and/or financial research is also preferred.

Experience in business development and client management, strong financial modelling skills, and the ability to create financial models based on strategic financial business plans are essential. Ability to manage project expenditures against budget and revenue, and provide guidance to team members to ensure the completion of work deliverables, is also required.
