Job Overview

The Aquatic Services Coordinator will be responsible for the operation of the swim school and leading a passionate, professional and highly engaged swim school team. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead a dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Implement and promote aquatic programs in line with standards
  • Develop and implement processes for the success of the swim school
  • Adhere to business objectives and events calendar
  • Assist the leadership team to investigate accidents and incidents
  • Achieve set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including financial performance
  • Manage budgets and prepare required reports

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have a passion for swimming and the progression of students. You will have strong communication skills that build rapport and positive relationships with people and a commitment to customer service excellence. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with students with diverse needs. To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years' experience in a swim school environment and demonstrated ability to lead a team. You will possess values such as integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect, leadership and accountability.

Required Qualifications:

  • National Police Check
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent)
  • Current Swim Teaching Certificate
  • Swim Teaching extension certificates (desirable but not essential)
  • Previous Swim School Coordinator Experience
  • Strong people leadership with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia
