About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Policy Specialist to join our team at First People Recruitment Solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to external stakeholders on regulatory matters
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and address hot issues

  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in a regulatory or policy role, preferably in the Australian Government sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

What We Offer

The successful candidate will be offered an APS4 equivalent hourly rate contract, with a notional 12-month contract with a possible extension. This position is based in Fairbairn, ACT, and offers a unique opportunity to work with a 100% Indigenous owned agency providing contingent contracts, fixed term contracts, and permanent recruitment solutions to Government and Corporate Australia.
