Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team of experienced construction industry experts. This is an excellent opportunity to use your knowledge and gain further experience in all aspects of the construction phase of wind farm delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective project HSE support
  • Project construction leadership and support in all QSE matters
  • Ensure compliance of QSE systems and processes at the project site
  • Deliver compliance with statutory legislation for Workplace, Health, Safety and Environment (WHSE)
  • Coordinate and conduct inspections
  • Provide project leadership team QSE reports as requested
  • Ensure compliance of QSE training within the project
  • Implement project QSE documentation
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with contractors and stakeholders
  • Ensure all work carried out complies with Quality, Safety and Environment requirements in accordance with policies objectives and targets
  • Develop and assist coordination for Project HSE Delivery plan and initiatives
  • Ensure project QSE targets and objectives are met
  • Disseminate QSE related information to project personnel

Requirements

  • Diploma /Cert IV OHS/WHS
  • A current white card or equivalent for the construction industry is mandatory

Competencies

  • Previous experience as a QSE professional in a wind farm project or major construction project
  • Understanding and implementation of QSE management systems and certification process (ISO9001, 14001, 18001, 45001, AS4801)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with both contractor and construction teams
  • A strong commitment to Safety, Environment and Quality
  • Excellent time management skills
  • High level understanding of QSE information and manage effective responses
