About the Role

Are you a mechanical or electrical trade professional looking to transition into the renewable energy sector? We are seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to join our team, working on various wind farms across Australia.

This role suits candidates willing to travel and work on Fly in Fly out rosters. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, and upgrades on wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance routines and make performance checks.
  • Repair, refurbish or replace defective plant equipment.
  • Operate and/or assist with the operation of all assigned plants.
  • Document all activities and input information into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Respond to afterhours call outs and provide support to other wind farm sites.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Global Wind Organisation certification (GWO).
  • Heights rescue desirable.
  • High Voltage Switching experience and qualification desirable.
