About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Advisor to join our Retail Transformation Team at AGL. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that AGL meets its regulatory compliance requirements and supports the delivery of our Retail Transformation Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, sound, and strategic advice on regulatory compliance matters to ensure AGL's Retail Transformation Program is aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with the Retail Transformation program to ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of new regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
  • Provide high-quality regulatory advice on initiatives and processes, including external communications, product development, campaign delivery, marketing collateral, and sales processes.
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory risks, ensuring that AGL's Retail Transformation Program is compliant with all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience in a regulatory or compliance role within the retail energy industry.
  • Strong legal skills for interpreting regulatory impacts on business processes, systems, and outcomes.
  • Commercial and strategic attitude toward ensuring regulatory compliance within the business.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and partner with others across the business to develop and execute strategy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulations to help shape and implement future initiatives.
