Are you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging role in compliance and risk management? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Compliance and Designated AML Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Liaise and report to regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with Australian financial services regulations.
- Act as a compliance advisor to our board of directors and senior management.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant regulations and business practices.
- Ensure local operations comply with relevant regulations and maintain adequate documentation.
- Train staff on local regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant regimes.
- Conduct regular monitoring to ensure compliance with in-house rules and regulations.
- Design and review internal policies and procedures related to compliance matters.
- Assess and report on the Company\'s compliance status to senior management and the board of directors.
- Bachelor\'s degree in law or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian financial services regulations and requirements.
- Experience working in the CFD and margin FX industry is desirable.
- Proven track record of managing complex stakeholders and effectively solving problems.
