Job Title: Injury Management Specialist

The Injury Management Specialist will coordinate and manage workplace claims, ensuring injured employees receive timely support and accurate entitlements. This is a standalone position reporting directly to the HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient and effective injury management processes.
  • Develop return-to-work strategies and procedures.
  • Provide early intervention to support timely return to work.
  • Manage complex claims, including arranging medical assessments.
  • Liaise with insurers, regulators, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Advise managers on injury management best practices.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate wage payments.
  • Partner with external providers for return-to-work planning.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Audit return-to-work processes and recommend improvements.
Requirements:

We seek an experienced professional with demonstrated knowledge in:

  • HSE, Injury Management, and Return to Work case management.
  • Return-to-Work procedures as legislated by Workers Compensation Systems.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
