About the Role

The Area Vice President, Sales will be responsible for managing a distributed team selling Imperva Solutions and Services in Australia and New Zealand. This highly visible and impactful role will work in conjunction with a strong sales team and partners to successfully develop and service all customers or prospects within their respective geography/territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales teams in the Australia and New Zealand region.
  • Drive opportunities at the strategic and tactical level.
  • Work with the sales team in territory planning.
  • Stay informed of customer business opportunities, current conditions, future prospects, active measurements, and competitive issues.
  • Collaborate with APJ leadership team and functions like marketing, Channels, etc.
  • Responsible for securing new business, additional orders, and maintenance renewal orders for all license and professional services revenue.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business related field.
  • Dynamic, high energy sales professional and leader with 7-10 years successful experience in direct sales, high-level, executive selling of long-cycle products—ideally within Security Technology–Web Application, Database Security.
  • Experience selling enterprise level solutions in the security and compliance markets.
  • Demonstrated success in achievement or over-achievement of assigned revenue quota—quarterly and annually.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
