The Role:
We're seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to join our team at Kilmore District Health. As an Environmental Services Assistant, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. You'll work collaboratively with our team to undertake a range of clinical and non-clinical cleaning duties, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional cleaning services to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize competing needs and work flexibility.
- Displays a commitment to providing quality service to patients and families.
- Displays an awareness of and works to culturally diverse needs of patients and families.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of Infection prevention and control with Age Care and Health services.
- Demonstrated experience in cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning products within Environmental Cleaning environment.
- Must be available 7 days a week, weekends, public Holidays and evenings.
