Job Description

**Job Title:** Offshore Wind Environmental Approval Specialist - Principal Consultant to Partner Level

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Specialist to lead our offshore wind team in Melbourne, Australia. As a Principal Consultant to Partner Level, you will play a key role in ensuring that offshore wind and marine infrastructure projects are developed in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead Environmental Impact Assessments (EIS/EES) for offshore wind projects in marine environments
  • Design, mobilize, and coordinate fieldwork for marine baseline studies, ensuring safety planning and compliance
  • Manage projects to scope and budget, maintaining exceptional team and stakeholder relationships
  • Collaborate with technical team leads to deliver superior outcomes for clients
  • Support Account Directors in maintaining client relationships and developing business strategies
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and mentor junior team members

**Requirements:**

  • 10+ years' experience in environmental planning and impact assessments on offshore projects
  • 5+ years' experience in environmental consulting, with experience in Australia and internationally highly desirable
  • Excellent project management and delivery skills, including budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and communications
  • Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teams
  • Tertiary degree in Marine Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Authorisation to work in Australia
