Offshore Wind Environmental Approval Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment practitioner to join our team as an Offshore Wind Environmental Approval Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a leadership role in ensuring that offshore wind and marine infrastructure projects are developed in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead EIS/EES projects in marine environments and as an offshore wind specialist.
- Manage projects to scope and budget, and ensure team and stakeholder relationships are maintained to an exceptional standard.
- Collaborate with technical team leads to develop and deliver superior outcomes for our clients.
- Support Account Directors in maintaining existing client relationships and develop strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
- 10+ years' experience in environmental planning and impact assessments on offshore projects, including 5+ years' experience in environmental consulting.
- Excellent project management and project delivery skills, including budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and communications.
- Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
- Tertiary degree in Marine Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Authorisation to work in Australia.
