About the PositionWe're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. As a key member of our property management team, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of commercial, retail, and industrial properties.
Daily Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with our Property, Finance, and Project Teams to achieve key performance indicators for our portfolio.
- Manage rental arrears and provide regular reports to the Asset Manager.
- Review and monitor Tenant Information Forms (TIFa), lease audits, and carpark management.
- Ensure billing accuracy and implement lease term increases and charges.
- Approve and arrange timely payment of building-related invoices within delegations of authority.
- Maintain detailed tenancy schedules and ensure up-to-date insurance records.
- Handle tenant correspondence efficiently and professionally.
- Work closely with tenants to address complaints or requests in a timely manner.
- Optimise portfolio performance through effective asset management.
- Monitor tenant compliance with lease obligations and take necessary actions.
- Tertiary qualifications in real estate or a related field are preferred but not essential.
- Experience in commercial Property Management/Facilities Management is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills are necessary.
