Job Summary

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for the effective tactical execution of key marketing activities and campaigns to deliver the marketing objectives for the centre and drive the best customer experience for the centre's community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Regional Brand & Marketing Manager in developing marketing strategies and amplifying the Centre's Marketing plan.
  • Generate local tactical activity creative briefs with local requirements aligned with the Vision Strategy and Action Plan (VSA) pillars and national toolkits.
  • Implement social and digital activity, monitoring, and reporting with the Digital and Social Specialist.
  • Manage events, campaigns, and activations, including risk assessments and day-to-day management.
  • Perform legal and compliance duties, including briefing terms and conditions and escalating governance requirements.
  • Assist with financial and budgeting duties, including purchase orders, invoices, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Localise the national sustainability strategy, including relationship management, community bookings, and data reporting.
  • Provide centre operational support, including centre walks, duty management, customer service, hoarding management, PA announcements, visual merchandising, and contractor support.
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties, including preparing reports and attending meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven marketing experience with skills in event implementation and management, proofreading, editing, interpersonal communication, customer service, and financial acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, developing and maintaining strategic relationships.
  • Knowledge of the retail and shopping centre marketing industry, with a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to deliver on the consumer experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
