Infection Control Specialist

The Infectious Disease unit at a reputable healthcare provider are seeking a permanent consultant to support the Diabetes Foot Service clinic.
This multidisciplinary team provides care to patients with infection-related illness, as well as a consultative service to other units within the health service to assist in the management of infections.
- Provide inpatient and ambulatory care to patients with infection-related illness.
- Offer a consultative service to other units within the health service to assist in the management of infections.
Requirements:
- FRACP with accreditation in Infectious Diseases and an interest in Diabetes and antimicrobial stewardship.
- A current medical registration and credential for the position (Specialist Year 1 - 6).
- An ability to make decisions and clearly communicate them to relevant parties.
- An ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- A passion for providing expert care within public health.
