Community Living Australia empowers people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. With over 30 years of experience, we are known for our person-centred approach and strong community partnerships.

Casual positions are available in our Mount Gambier team. Shifts are rostered over mornings, afternoons and nights across a 7-day week.

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering people with disabilities by providing compassionate support that allows them to thrive.

You may be eligible for Remote Living Benefits to salary package household costs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Provide support with household duties including meal preparation, cleaning and laundry
  • Advocate for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights and choices are respected
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised support plans

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability (or equivalent)
  • A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Check & Working with Children Check
  • Passion for health and safety demonstrated through maintaining First Aid, CPR & Safe Environments for Children & Young People
  • A positive attitude with flexibility to work across a 24 / 7 roster
