Job Description

This role will focus on delivering a range of sustaining capital projects, including port facilities and non-process infrastructure (NPI), for key mining clients. As the Senior Civil Design Manager, you will play a key role in the leadership, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering design solutions across multiple high-impact projects.

  • Lead and manage the delivery of civil design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality outcomes aligned with client expectations and engineering standards.
  • Deliver sustaining capital projects across ports, mining infrastructure, and NPI, including roadways, drainage, earthworks, haul roads, and site civil works.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to civil engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to understand requirements, develop innovative design solutions, and ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Oversee the development of engineering designs, calculations, and documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams, aligning civil design deliverables with other disciplines (structural, electrical, etc).
  • Monitor project performance, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
