About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Cleaner/Laundry Assistant to join our team at Regis Aged Care. This role will be responsible for maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our residences, with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
  • Ensure the home is clean to high standards

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, healthcare, or aged care environment
  • Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals
  • Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for interacting with our residents
