About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team at Collarcare® in a Residential Aged Care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality personal care to residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
  • Assist Registered Nurses with vital sign documentation, medication administration, and resident assessments, promoting accurate and timely care.
  • Support residents with meal consumption and nutrition monitoring, fostering a positive dining experience.
  • Implement and maintain infection control and prevention measures, safeguarding the health and safety of residents and staff.
  • Deliver palliative care, restorative care, and pain management services, addressing the complex needs of residents.
  • Establish effective communication with residents, families, doctors, and allied health professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Requirements for Success
  • Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu shot.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Minimum 6 months of full-time experience in Aged Care as a Personal Care Worker in Australia.
  • Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
