Personal Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team at Collarcare® in a Residential Aged Care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality personal care to residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
- Assist Registered Nurses with vital sign documentation, medication administration, and resident assessments, promoting accurate and timely care.
- Support residents with meal consumption and nutrition monitoring, fostering a positive dining experience.
- Implement and maintain infection control and prevention measures, safeguarding the health and safety of residents and staff.
- Deliver palliative care, restorative care, and pain management services, addressing the complex needs of residents.
- Establish effective communication with residents, families, doctors, and allied health professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu shot.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Minimum 6 months of full-time experience in Aged Care as a Personal Care Worker in Australia.
- Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
