About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Cleaner/Laundry Assistant to join our team at Regis Aged Care. This role will assist in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our residential aged care homes, with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift
- Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
- Ensure the home is clean to high standards
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, healthcare, or aged care environment
- Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals
- Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- A passion for interacting with our residents
