Rostering Coordinator Role

Job Description: We are seeking a Rostering Coordinator to join our team in North Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the engagement, allocation, and utilisation of our casual workforce across a diverse range of service areas.

The Rostering Coordinator will contribute to the orientation and onboarding process of our on-hired casual workforce ensuring they are work-ready using our system. They will also coordinate and develop rosters across various services, identify and assess employee availability, capability, and suitability to effectively match resources to business requirements and to maximise utilisation.

They will build and maintain effective working relationships with managers and work in partnership with NGO's and other Community & Welfare organisations in order to understand and respond to business resourcing requirements. Additionally, they will analyse and assess operational processes and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

The Rostering Coordinator will maintain accurate roster information within designated business systems to ensure relevant parties are kept updated and informed. They will also collate relevant information (as required) to input into payroll or monthly reports, conduct regular audits on compliance documentation, chase and report back to the team regarding outstanding items and tickets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Rostering or scheduling experience
  • Previous community services experience highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, the ability to work well in a team environment and independently and proactively
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
