Construction Estimator

Role Overview

Seeking a skilled Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with site construction methodologies and the ability to compile detailed cost-based estimates.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for large-scale projects.
  • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and scope of works to inform estimate preparation.
  • Conduct material take-offs, labour, plant, and equipment cost assessments.
  • Liaise with internal resources to gather necessary information for estimate compilation.
  • Develop detailed tender submission proposals and presentations for clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in the NSW/Australian market.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project documentation and specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to clients.
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 5131 and TfNSW specifications B201 (CC2/CC3).
