Job Title: IT Commercial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Commercial Analyst to join our organization.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, reporting, purchasing, vendor and contract analysis, as well as budgeting and management reporting experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or information systems, or proven commercial experience, is required.

About this role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting: Preparation of month end Actual vs Budget across both Opex and Capex reporting requirements.
  • Cost Control: Collate, track and monitor IT spend (Opex and Capex) and communicate regularly with key internal stakeholders and external Vendors.
  • Purchasing: Creation of IT Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders for the majority of IT spend.
  • Contract Management: Ensure major 3rd party contractual terms are understood, managed and reconciled.
  • Analysis: Identify cost saving or process improvement opportunities.
  • IT Asset Management: Track major IT software assets ensuring licensing compliance.
  • Communication: Communicate with multiple teams and external stakeholders and present reports on a regular monthly basis.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting: Respond efficiently to adhoc IT reporting requests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Information Systems or proven commercial experience.
  • Strong experience in a cost control function, ideally within IT, including transactional processing, reporting and analysis.
  • Understanding of IT costs or having worked closely in a role that partnered with IT.
  • Budgeting and Management reporting experience.
  • Commitment to continuous service improvement.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Well-developed organisational skills and the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
