Overview

The Department of Health, Tasmania is seeking a skilled Allied Health Professional to join our Child and Family Wellbeing team in the North region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical services through relevant assessment, recovery-focused case management, and other recovery or trauma-informed services.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems, aligning with the Tasmanian Government's Rethink Initiative and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
• Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation to colleagues as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:
• A satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registration with the relevant National Board or full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
• Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable) and a valid Driver's Licence.
