About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced ICT Support Specialist to provide first and second-level IT support, ensuring hardware and software function smoothly and securely across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To act as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to our ICT systems.
  • To diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues promptly.
  • To assist staff with the installation, configuration, and usability of desktop computers, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software within established company standards and guidelines.
  • To track and maintain a comprehensive hardware and software inventory.
  • To monitor and respond to security alerts, updating software as necessary to mitigate risk.
  • To evaluate our IT systems to ensure they meet our necessary demands.
  • To assist staff with remote access and VPN problems efficiently.
  • To maintain confidentiality regarding information processed, stored, or accessed by the network at all times.
  • To draft and publish technical documentation/instructions and conduct training sessions to assist staff in effective use of IT resources.
  • To collaborate with external vendors for the procurement of new systems and software effectively.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in an ICT support role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and procedures is required.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows 10 and Windows 11 is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft cloud products such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft Azure Active Directory is a plus.
  • Experience with mobile devices (iOS, Android) management system is also a plus.
  • Industrial certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certifications, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA A+ are a bonus to this position.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to communicate technical information both verbally and written to a wide range of end-users is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
  • Strong customer service mindset and experience are required.
