About the Opportunity

This is a casual role that offers flexibility and the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients and provide personalized care tailored to their needs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess certain skills and qualities. These include:

  • A caring and empathetic attitude towards individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Practical knowledge of personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Experience in supporting individuals with physical limitations and complex needs
  • A commitment to providing responsive and considerate care
Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Disability or Diploma of Community Services or equivalent
  • A current National Police Certificate
  • Required experience in mental health and forensic environments
  • Current First aid Certificate
  • Smart Phone and internet access
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of the role
  • A relevant visa or working rights in Australia
