Job Title: Senior Operations Coordinator

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the daily operations of our organization run smoothly and efficiently. This involves overseeing all operational and financial aspects, managing property-related needs, coordinating Centre vehicle use, handling cash and banking duties, and supporting the development of staff and volunteers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with overseeing all operational and financial aspects of the Centre.
  • Manage property-related needs across all services within the Centre.
  • Coordinate and maintain Centre vehicle use.
  • Handle cash and banking duties as required.
  • Support the development of staff and volunteers through mentoring, training, coaching, and empowerment to fulfill their roles.
  • Provide human resources and work health & safety support.
  • Uphold organizational values and mission, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
  • Participate in the recruitment, supervision, development, and performance appraisal of staff.
  • Record Management:
  • Maintain and archive manual and digital records in accordance with organizational standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Management, Finance, or a related discipline, with experience in rehabilitation or similar social services environments.
  • Qualifications or substantial experience in rehabilitation or other social support contexts.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in working with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours.
