Role Overview

As an Outdoor Education Operations Supervisor, you have the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on young Australians.

Lead the planning and delivery of unforgettable camp experiences, inspiring confidence, resilience, and teamwork in participants.

Coordinate program delivery from inception to post-camp evaluation, overseeing a team of Senior Instructors and Outdoor Educators while designing programs in consultation with schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement engaging outdoor education programs that meet the needs of diverse groups.
  • Team Supervision and Support: Provide guidance and oversight to Senior Instructors and Outdoor Educators, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Program Design: Collaborate with schools to design programs that cater to their specific needs and goals.
  • Roster Management and Staffing: Effectively manage staff rosters and ensure adequate staffing for program delivery.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Budgeting: Oversee the maintenance and management of outdoor education equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and within budget.
  • Safety Standards and Compliance: Ensure all programs are delivered in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with schools and stakeholders, building trust and credibility through effective communication and service delivery.
