Our team is seeking an experienced Outdoor Education Operations Supervisor to lead the planning and delivery of high-quality, adventure-based school camps. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of program delivery from planning to post-camp review, ensuring safety standards are maintained and compliance requirements are met.

The position involves supervising and supporting a team of Senior Instructors and Outdoor Educators, fostering strong relationships with schools, partners, and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include designing programs in consultation with schools to meet specific objectives, taking into account risk management and safety compliance in outdoor settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of program delivery from planning to post-camp review.
  • Supervise and support a team of Senior Instructors and Outdoor Educators.
  • Design programs in consultation with schools.
  • Manage rosters, staffing, and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading outdoor education programs and teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Cert IV or higher in Outdoor Recreation/Education (or equivalent).
