Job Title: Human Resources Manager

This role supports the Human Resources Department and acts as a key business partner to various brands. The position reports to the HR Director SEA & AUS.

The successful candidate will provide effective and timely HR support at management level and employees by ensuring business needs are met in line with Company policies while ensuring compliance with local labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support at management level and employees, ensuring business needs are met in line with Company policies.
  • Employee relations, advising on workplace matters, investigations, and Fair Work.
  • Lead COVID-related workforce topics with management and employees.

Business Acumen
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company.
  • Work with stakeholders on communication, improvements to be made, and strengths to build on from employee engagement activities.
  • Support the business on delivering local/global initiatives that reinforce culture and behaviors.

Talent Management
  • Talent management and succession planning.
  • Support line managers through performance review and development cycle, including performance improvement plans and development needs analysis.
  • Identify opportunities and needs for training.

HR Operations
  • Implement and execute HR processes, such as training and development, compensation review, annual report, and budget cycle.
  • Manage payroll on a monthly and fortnightly basis and lead payroll and employee benefits-related projects.
  • Generate reports and provide analysis on employee statistics.
  • Lead and provide guidance to the HR Coordinator.
  • Handle HR administrative duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent, along with proven experience in a similar position responsible for a generalist portfolio.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the HR field.
  • Fully conversant with prevailing local HR practices, legislation, and trends.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A self-starter who works effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, action-oriented, and results-driven with strong organizational skills.
  • Open-minded with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, rigorous, organized, and possessing a strong analytical mind.
  • Retail experience is a plus; passion for retail is a must.

Language Skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a must.
  • Comfortable working with systems and IT tools.
