About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a strategic and operational Human Resources environment, providing expert advice and services on a range of issues. You will be responsible for delivering day-to-day HR support and guidance to stakeholders across the organization.

The Department

The People & Culture team is responsible for HR Operations, Organisational Development, Safety and Wellbeing, Employee Relations, Recruitment, HR Systems, and HR Business Partnering and Advisory Services. This group provides comprehensive HR advice and services including workforce planning, policy interpretation, legislative compliance, performance management, attraction of talent, retention initiatives, and general HR advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide expert HR advice and guidance to stakeholders across the organization.
  • To develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with business objectives.
  • To manage and maintain accurate HR records and data.
  • To collaborate with other teams to deliver HR-related projects and initiatives.
  • To stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and industrial legislation.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary level qualification in business or human resources.
  • Proven experience in providing HR advice in a complex environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in HR within the health industry.
  • Familiarity with health industry awards and agreements.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
